How Juvederm Works

Your skin naturally produces hyaluronic acid. However, over time the amount of acid diminishes. This can be due to several factors such as age, sun exposure, or other damage to the skin. Filler replaces the hyaluronic acid in your skin. It’s a gel-like formula that is injected into problem areas to restore a youthful appearance. There is an anesthetic in the formula itself to reduce pain and discomfort during the procedure.
